#so I just got all caught up on parenthood #and officially the only show on tv that makes me cry actual tears #I mean with other shows it’s just my whole brain that is crying #parenthood makes me produce actual tears #literally cried at every episode #this scene #when julia saw her with the baby and broke down #when drew told sarah he thought she and his dad might get back together #when sarah broke up with mark #when jasmine proposed to crosby #when amber and sarah cuddled in bed #when amber told bob she couldn’t be with him #and I don’t know why it is because I don’t have any particular fangirly emotional connection to the characters #I guess when it comes down to it most shows are so removed from your reality #that even when you’re an emotional wreck over your otp it’s not something you necessarily connect with on a personal level #whereas parenthood is just about those real honest moments between families #and so I cry
